The Kyoto shrine gardens had trails that branched off throughout the back of the grounds, all the way
to the top of the mountain. I stumbled upon the travel on accident and continue the ascent to the top.
There was a huge steel lookout platform at the top of the mountain and some pavement where cars could
drive up the back of the mountain to see the lookout. Everything seemed to be commercialized
no matter where you went.
There were some houses along the pathways. If you seek peace and quiet for relection, this is a prime
quiet area to live.
